Smooth: Live & Indirekt consists of a few live recordings that were mixed together. The first took place at the legendary West Philadelphia Killtime Warehouse. The second took place in the wilds of Ontario Canada at the OM Festival. The third took place at a party in Ithaca NY.

They were later blended together in the I.F.F. home studio at 11th and Greene in North Philly. All the warts, low end rumble and mistakes were kept in because, well, that's where so much magic occurred.

Born out of Philadelphia's legendary Killtime parties, I.F.F. is a house music project helmed by Marc Francis that derives its sound as much from crappy grooveboxes and EMU samplers as from live instrumentation and improvisation.
